This Disposer Splash Guard is made of durable black plastic and is used to keep debris from exiting the disposal during the grinding process. If the current splash guard in your appliance is torn, damaged or missing, replacing this accessory may alleviate these issues. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the disposal and novice repair experience.
